Privacy Policy — Talameezy (تلاميذي)

1. Data controller

The platform is operated for churches. Each church’s data is isolated within its account. For privacy inquiries: admin@talameezy.com.

2. Who uses the app?

• Students / members: attendance, quizzes, verse memorization, store, notifications, bus tracking.
• Church admins / servants: managing students, degrees, attendance, reports, buses, and more via mobile or web.

3. Data we may collect

• Account data: name, email, phone, password (hashed), profile photo when uploaded.
• Church service data: class/meeting, attendance, degrees, quiz/memorization submissions, orders, bus regions, student registration data entered by the church.
• Location: when self check-in, bus tracking, or home/bus-stop address features are used — only with your consent or church settings.
• Camera / photos: for QR scanning and user-selected personal photos or media/document uploads.
• Push notifications: a technical device token to send service notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging when enabled.
• Technical data: error and operational logs needed for security and stability (for example IP address in server logs).

4. Purposes of use

• Running approved church services (attendance, learning, store, buses, reports).
• Authentication, permissions, and audit logging.
• Sending service-related notifications when requested.
• Improving security and troubleshooting.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties for advertising.

5. Sharing with others

• Your church admins: according to their permissions in the platform.
• Infrastructure providers: hosting, file storage, email, notifications (e.g. Firebase) — only as needed to run the service.
• Maps / location: when using Google Maps or location links, coordinates may be sent according to your settings.
• When required by binding legal request.

6. Retention and deletion

Data is kept for the duration of the church subscription or according to the church’s administrative policies. You may request correction or deletion through your church admin or via admin@talameezy.com. Backups or audit logs may be retained for a limited period for security/legal purposes.

7. Security and your rights

We use authentication, permissions, and HTTPS. You can access your profile data via the app/portal and turn off location, camera, or notification permissions in device settings (some features may be affected).

8. Children

Data about minors may be managed by the church with guardian consent/supervision according to church practice. The app is for organized church ministry and is not intended to collect children’s data independently of the church’s role.

9. Changes

We may update this policy when the service changes. The updated version is published on this page with the update date.
